Eligibility Criteria for Bank Exams

The basic criteria need to be followed for bank exams are

●      The candidate must have completed the graduation from a recognized university or institute.

●      The candidate should be an Indian Citizen to apply for the bank examination.

●      The candidate must be in the age bracket for the exam.

●      The candidates of the SC/ST or OBC category receive relaxation at the age of 5 and 3 years respectively.

●      The age criteria for bank exams starts from 20 years.

●      The Act includes deaf, blindness, low vision, mental illness, learning disability, acid attack victims, dwarfism, and cerebral palsy.

●      The candidate must have 60% of marks to appear in the examination.

●      The candidate should have proof of examination or degree from a recognized college or university in India.

Things to know before giving bank exam

●      The candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree to apply for bank exams.

●      The banking sector consists of government, private, and co-operative banks. To get a job in the bank the candidate has to clear the exam and fulfill the eligibility criteria.

●      For the candidates applying for RBI, the age limit ranges between 21-26 years, and candidates must be graduate, post-graduate, or CA.

●      For the SBI PO and commercial bank exam, The maximum age limit is 28 years with the graduation degree.

●      For the Clerk position, the candidate must have completed secondary education or graduation.
