Eligibility Criteria for Bank Exams

The basic criteria need to be followed for bank exams are

      The candidate must have completed the graduation from a recognized university or institute.

      The candidate should be an Indian Citizen to apply for the bank examination.

      The candidate must be in the age bracket for the exam.

      The candidates of the SC/ST or OBC category receive relaxation at the age of 5 and 3 years respectively.

      The age criteria for bank exams starts from 20 years.

      The Act includes deaf, blindness, low vision, mental illness, learning disability, acid attack victims, dwarfism, and cerebral palsy.

      The candidate must have 60% of marks to appear in the examination.

      The candidate should have proof of examination or degree from a recognized college or university in India.

Things to know before giving bank exam

      The candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree to apply for bank exams.

      The banking sector consists of government, private, and co-operative banks. To get a job in the bank the candidate has to clear the exam and fulfill the eligibility criteria.

      For the candidates applying for RBI, the age limit ranges between 21-26 years, and candidates must be graduate, post-graduate, or CA.

      For the SBI PO and commercial bank exam, The maximum age limit is 28 years with the graduation degree.

      For the Clerk position, the candidate must have completed secondary education or graduation.
